This is an update to my very first post on this blog. All of the confusion and poodoo surrounding the packaging has been resolved and the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One - Avengers Assembled 10-Disc Limited Edition Six-Movie Collector's Set (whew, that's a mouth full) will be on store shelves next month, April 2nd, 2013.
This is a Blu-Ray set including Iron Man I & II, Thor (in Blu-Ray 3D & Blu-Ray), Captain America (in Blu-Ray 3D & Blu-Ray), The Incredible Hulk and The Avengers (in Blu-Ray 3D & Blu-Ray) PLUS a bonus disk and the snazzy model Tesseract all inside a fancy briefcase.
Despite three of the disks going to waste to 3D, this is a very attractive box set and more proof that old-school hard copy entertainment will always be more fun than streaming media.
